We made it to Vietnam with all going smoothly and no stress. We left at 6:15am to travel to the airport and arrived at Danang airport at 9:30pm (12:30am Melbourne time) where we met Alison, jumped into a taxi and headed to the hotel in Hoi An.

We did the holiday thing and went for a boat tour along the river Thu Bon. All the boys had a go at stearing the boat which was a bit of fun. 
"Cool drink". It was a warm day and we stopped to buy sunglasses and then a refreshing drink. Lachy had a mango smoothy.
It was a good first day looking around and checking out the sites and experiencing a taste of the culture.
